A few more work in progress. Now its time to get painting. The color scheme has been found Weee! Shades of purple for the armor with white helmets and shoulder pads.

This is Iyanna, seconded to the Deathwatch. Her specialist role is marksman with her sniper bolter variant. The bolter arm is missing and will be added once she has been painted.

This is Táelwyn, a veteran sister of my DYI chapter. She has just returned to her chapter after a secondment to the Deathwatch and immediately finds her in harms way in a war against the necrons. The idea is that she was struck by a glancing hit from a gauss weapon that ate through some of her chest armor, revealing her body glove beneath with tears in them. The right arm will consist of a gravgun with magnets on so I can change it to another special weapon. But thats giving me a few problems, which is the reason it has not been attached yet.

Here is a couple of pictures of my homemade breachers that I have been working on this summer. Going to count as loyalist Iron Warriors someday when I get alot more of them.

Thanks for throwing your eyes this way and feel mightily free to leave comments behind! *waves*

trying to nail that perfect skin tone! Eeep

Iron warrior Librarian (Witch!) now with wings and in the progress of being painted. Sorry for the lack of quality images and the sudden burst of a huge image! I seriously have to brush up on my skills of photography! :)

Anyways, the idea I got was to try out a model with bat or daemon wings and see how it would go. Lorewise, this is strictly no go I know, but I enjoyed putting her together and painting her, though I have yet to nail that perfect skin tone. Ah well, back to the painting board!.

Hope you enjoy and feel free to leave comments.

Prepping for the Apoc game

2nd of august is just around the corner and it brings with it a warhammer festival in our backyard :). 25 people or so will merrily meet up to play boardgames of many different types, participate in a 8-10 men big Warhammer 40k apoc game or simply just frolick and lounge in the sweet warm sun with happy people and a plethora of drinks to keep the spirits high.

To this end, I'm working on finishing some of my Iron Warriors and thus, without further ado, I bring you the Baneblade Super heavy "The Glory of Olympia" and its speartip Iron Warrior terminators

Hey! Are you looking at me?!

Oops Sorry I stepped on you!

Oh and working on a scenery that will be used as a summoning portal. Behold the Eye of Horus in the eight pointed star!

Tis all for now! Byebye!
